Remember Them at The Rooms
Located in St. John’s, The Rooms is the province’s largest cultural space and is home to the museum, art gallery and archives. On July 1, 2016, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal was present for the official opening of the Fortis Courtyard and Amphitheatre and toured the new permanent Royal Newfoundland Regiment Gallery. This exhibition follows the Regiment from formation through triumphs and tragedies in Europe. The Royal Naval Reserve, the Merchant Marine, the Newfoundland Forestry Corps and the Women’s Patriotic Association are also featured.
